It’s My Birthday!
At 0532 Eastern Time today I turned 31. Another year has passed me by. Last year was a very crazy year for me.
Lets quickly recap.
Last April my little ‘company’ was humming along very nicely with nearly 5,000 active customers, when my business partner had a nervous break down or something, which led to a total and complete breakdown in our relationship, even to the point were our two lawyers refused to communicate — seriously. Ultimately, this led to a very unfriendly divorce, if you will. While many reading this would love some more detail as to the radical actions taken by my business partner, my legal council has advised me to avoid discussion at all cost.
Come June I was able to find and solidify relationships with quite a few other partners, who came from recommendations by very prominent people in the communities I am involved in. Many of my customers had been able to restore their toll-free telephone numbers and very surprisingly were still wanting to do business with us.
October was a great point for us when many of us came together at Astricon to continue to build our relationships and develop our growing business.
When 2007 came around things were finally starting to move. My new business partners, legal council and girl friend had pretty much figured out their respective situations and we each have been playing our part.
I also decided I needed to start blogging, which seems to have been the best decision I have made in quite a long time. By the traffic I am getting on this site, I can see there is a serious need for a relevant source of VoIP, Asterisk and OpenSER information and how to’s.
I have quite a few personal and business goals defined for the next year of my life.
While I have many goals, I will discuss two of my primary goals.
Two Goals For My 31st Year On This Planet
- Launch many new and exciting products and services, including a customer resource and support center.
- Continue to provide relevant content so more and more people can figure out how VoIP is really done.
I cannot discuss about what my company intends to deploy, so you will have to trust me on that front.
As for my continued blogging/content publishing, I intend to continue my How to Configure Asterisk and OpenSER Series of Articles and continue keeping my ear to the ground with the various relevant VoIP developments.
If you find my articles useful and valuable to you, please consider donating a few bucks or buy me something off my wish list.
