I don’t know about you, but I check my PayPal accounts quite often, just to be sure everything is what I expect, mainly because I still do not trust PayPal, all that much.

However, PayPal is effectively down, today. While I have seen a small number of successful PayPal payments today, it does seem like fewer payments are getting processed, at least in my various PayPal related operations today. Ebay has also acknowledged PayPal being down.

Others have started speculating as to the cause. Lets hope PayPal sorts this issue out soon - I like the constant flood of PayPal payments.

Update: As of 6:23PM Eastern time, I have noticed an increased volume of PayPal payments and have been able to reliably log into my account for the past 30 minutes.
