Digium just announced the call for entries for the first Digium Innovation Awards.

The Innovation Awards will honor developers, customers and partners using Asterisk Software in break-through business deployments.

Winners will be announced in the following categories:

• Pioneer Award - most innovative Asterisk implementation
• Big Biz Asterisk Award - largest Asterisk enterprise class installation
• ROI Award - best measurable ROI from implementing Asterisk
• Inside Out Award - best use of Asterisk in a business outside of telecommunications
