It seems that PayPal is down again.
Upon attempting to log in, PayPal returns “page not found” as their title and “We are unable to complete your request at this time. Please click Retry or try again later. We apologize for the inconvenience. Message 3004.”

It appears Microsoft has been in discussions with Yahoo! for the past 18 months about a proposed $44.6 billion acquisition, which was just publicly announced by Steve Ballmer.
